National Association of Multicultural Engineering Program Advocates, Inc. (NAMEPA) is a national network of educators and representatives from industry, government, and nonprofit organizations working to cultivate diverse technical talent in the fields of science, technology and engineering.
NAMEPA Region B is committed to sharing best practices for recruitment and retention and to providing members with information and tools to improve workflow and outcomes. Through regional conferences, leadership opportunities, and personal interaction, Region B helps members reach professional and organizational goals and provides a community of support and resources.
Meetings - Region B has two professional meetings each year. The Region B Fall meeting is held on a member college campus or at a corporate site.
Scholarship - Region B developed the first regional scholarship program within NAMEPA, Inc. Awards are presented annually to two (2) college engineering students with outstanding academic and activity records.
