Dr. Crystal Smith

Dr. Crystal S. Smith is currently an Associate Director of Counseling Services for the Educational Opportunity Program at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. She is responsible for coordinating all counseling and academic advising for incoming EOP Freshmen. Dr. Smith has worked in higher education for the past twelve years. She is a past President of the National Association of Multicultural Engineering Program Advocates, a national organization connecting corporate America to technical colleges and universities, and the leading source of professional development for directors of college engineering diversity programs. She holds a B.S. from Central State University, M.A. from Kean University and a Doctorate from Rowan University in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Higher Education.
