–Thursday, March 30–

Cultural Hackathon Ideation Session (3:00 – 5:00 PM) [invitation only]
Crowne Plaza – Salon B

The goal of this session is to continue conversations from the 2016 NAMEPA National Conference, gather feedback about the progress of the project, and collect ideas about the design of the Cultural Hackathon. The initial idea behind this effort was to offer more genuine face time between students and corporate reps by bringing them together to solve problems from the community. The idea was transformed by Chanel Beebe, Engineering Education PhD Student, with her passions for social change to become a space that empowers communities to take agency over the design process and its solutions.

Your attendance would be invaluable in moving this project forward and creating a truly unique experience for NAMEPA and community members.

Register @: www.tinyurl.com/CulturalHackathon
To ensure a diverse participant pool, selected participants will be contacted to confirm attendance!

Unable to attend but would still like to be involved in the future of this project? Still fill out the RSVP Survey and look forward to more updates about other opportunities to participate.

If you know of anyone else attending the NSBE Convention with passions for social change and community involvement, feel free to share the RSVP link and encourage them to register!
